Loadr BBS loader
(c) Copyright 1992 by Dennis Herring
Capstone BBS 205-339-4354
Loadr is a program that will load your BBS after a boot up. This program will
pause for 10 seconds to give you a chance to go to dos instead of loading your
BBS software. Loadr will load any bbs software. Loader will also run on a
monocrome monitor and will take your modem off the hook when the program
starts up.
I do not warranty this software and am not responsible for any damage
reflected by this software. Loadr is freeware to all sysops and may be
posted on any BBS for download.
This command line will start Wildcat and take your modem off the hook if it
is on com2, and the /m is if you want no color.
LOADR c:\wc30\cat /p2 /m
LOADR [{path to bbs batch file}{/p = communications port}{/m = monocrome}]
Make sure you put the path to your batch file first. If you have a color
monitor do not use the /m switch. Loadr, by default uses color display.
For the /p switch you just add the port number with it, example for port 1
it is /p1. There are only four ports that are recognized, 1 - 4.
If you do not want Loadr to take your modem off the hook just omit the /p
option. The only switch that is necessary is the path to your bbs program
and the name or batch file.
To get started just put Loadr + path to bbs batchfile + command line
options (if any) in your autoexec.bat.
If there are any problems with this program you can reach me via Wildnet
or Capstone BBS.
Thanks
